BLUE SKY & BUCK'S PUPS
INTRODUCTION:
These tiny blue puppies were born on June 5, 2010 and will be ready to go to their new homes on July 31 - NO EARLIER!!! State law requires they be at least 8 weeks old before they can leave the kennel.
THE PARENTS:
"Nothin' but blue sky do I see" was the lilting melody that filled our minds when we first saw this little longhaired blue & tan dog, when she was born, so that's what we named her - Blue Sky. (Her sisters became Stormy, Raindrop and Jinx - born on Friday the 13th, and Jinx caused their mother to need a c-section!) Blue Sky is a teeny weeny wienie, who weighed a mere 7.2 pounds when pregnant with all of this litter, and has been a good mama to her babies.
Buck is a smooth-coated isabella & tan, carrying one gene for piebald - he has a big white blaze on his chest. He's small enough that we use him to breed our smaller girls, especially when we want dilute-colored (isabella or blue) or piebald pups.

THE PUPPIES:
PUPPY #1 is the largest pup, a perfectly beautiful smooth-coated blue & tan girl. She may be the biggest baby, but when the parents are as small as Blue Sky and Buck, that means she will be a small adult, too. She is priced at $550, with optional AKC registration for another $50.
PUPPY #2 is an adorably tiny blue & tan smooth girl, with a miniscule white spot on her chest and the cutest little squiggle in her tail to make her totally unique. Funny, we have customers who don't want anything BUT pups with kinked tails! Anybody can find a straight-tailed dachshund, but the kinks are what make some puppies special, and each one is different from the next! Far from charging more for these incomparable puppies, we discount them so more people can find out how wonderful they are - Squiggle is only $450, and we won't include registration on her.
PUPPY #3 is a darling pocket-rocket of a boy, as blue as blue gets in a dachshund, and smooth-coated to boot. His tan points merely serve to accentuate how blue the rest of him is! He is priced at $450, or $500 with AKC registration.
MOTHER:
Blue Sky, as I said above, is a longhaired blue & tan VERY miniature dachshund, qualifying as a "rabbit" dachshund, according to the German sizing - she could easily fit down a rabbit-hole.

FATHER:
Buck is a sweet-heart who loves to share his small stature with his offspring. He's the color of fine-tanned buckskin, with that white accent on his chest which just sets it off beautifully.
