DAISY & ROMEO'S PUPS
INTRODUCTION:
These two solid-gold boys were born January 23, 2010 and will be ready to go to their new homes on March 20th.
THE PARENTS:
DAISY is an extremely small (7 lb) English cream longhair with the big, luminous, dark eyes and rich golden-retriever color of a true English. She's THE spoiled absolutely rotten house-dog, spends as much of her days as possible curled on somebody's lap (preferably Janet's), and is totally devoted to baby puppies - if not her own, then anyone else's she can get to. She loves it when we have to hand-raise any pup, because then she gets to clean and dote on it as if it were hers.
ROMEO is the pride and joy of our young doxie-loving friend Susan, who also shows him and some of her other dogs - he is well on his way to AKC championship standing. Romeo, according to Susan's website, weighs 11 lbs and it's all muscle - not pampered-housedog fat!
The parents' photos are posted below the pups' descriptions. Neither adult dog is for sale.
THE PUPPIES:
PUPPY #1 is the smaller and brighter-gold of the two, a charmingly furry longhair, and all boy. There is something very special about English creams and their offspring - they have tremendously laid-back personalities as puppies, and calm, regal demeanors as adults. They love to play, but they also love to lie around on their backs and have their tummies rubbed, or just gaze up at the ceiling! They're like a breed apart... we love them!
This little fellow, destined to stay small, is priced at $350 - a steal, when other breeders are charging over $1,000 for one! We are NOT offering AKC papers with these guys, so $350 is the total price.
MOTHER:
Daisy is a doozy, putting it mildly! She claims to be the head of the household, the leader of the pack, the alpha female of doxiedom - she is IT. A particularly persnickety pint-sized pup, she makes awfully big pawprints at FlicKennel! Guess it comes of being the coddled pet of the owners of the kennel! She's ten feet tall and bullet-proof, at least in her own mind!
Daisy has only had a couple of litters in her 3 1/2 years, and at the rate of only 1 or 2 per litter they're always special. She's always sad to see them grow up and go home with other people, but will happily continue to live on the sofa and mother all the orphans and needy babies!
Daisy's so pretty, one picture of her simply is NOT enough.
FATHER:
Romeo is pure sunshine gold, soft as thistledown, and with a gentle, pleasant personality. He lives to make his people happy, and this contented attitude is reflected in each of his offspring - we have greatly enjoyed each pup he has sired for us, and we've kept several of them in a rainbow of colors: RJ (Romeo, Jr.) is his father's son - pure gold; Juliet, RJ's sister, is black & cream like their mother (Miracle); Little Red is pure red like his mother (Sugarbaby). We can barely wait to see what lovely babies these young dogs will produce!

PUPPY #2 is the larger and darker one, for now! We have a nearly-adult male English cream who started out dark and is now pure light-gold - go figure! Sometimes, the darker the cream when it's young, the lighter it matures. However, a true "shaded cream" can start out with lots of black accents and stay that way - we'll just have to see what this guy does as he gets older. These are typical red dachshunds (although dilute reds), in that they change color a lot before they're all done growing! Again, this boy is priced at $350, and only without AKC papers.

REMEMBER - YOUR DEPOSIT HOLDS YOUR PUPPY, OTHERWISE IT'S "FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED"!
THIS PUPPY HAS BEEN TENTATIVELY SOLD, BUT WE HAVE GIVEN THE BUYER "PICK OF LITTER" SO THEY MAY CHOOSE BETWEEN THE TWO LITTERMATES. WE PERSONALLY DON'T SEE MUCH DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THEM. SO WHOEVER CHOOSES THE OTHER PUPPY IN THIS LITTER WILL HAVE SECOND PICK OF LITTER! - FLICKENNEL MANAGEMENT.

ON HOLD FOR SHERRY - THANK YOU!
