"LEXIE"
INTRODUCTION:
This litter was born August 7th and were eight weeks old on October 2nd, 2009, ready to come and get'em!
THE PARENTS:
Mandy is a charming, smallish red longhair with a lot of black overlay, especially on her ears and back. She's a beautiful little girl, and she makes beautiful little puppies!
Randy is an American cream piebald, all gold and white in smooth-coat.
THE PUPPY:
THIS PUP QUALIFIES FOR $50 AKC PAPERS AND HAS HAD ALL HER PUP SHOTS, PLUS RABIES!
REMEMBER - your deposit holds your pup for you. Otherwise, it's "first come, first served!"
LEXIE is a lovely red longhair with some white piebald markings. She was adopted (and named) in October, but things didn't quite work out for the family as planned, so she came back to us on December 20th to be re-homed. For now, she's enjoying being here with us, but she's a sweet-natured little gal in search of the right person or family. Her first family had two early-teen children and another Flickennel dachshund, so she's acquainted with family life and is well-socialized with other dogs. (She's in a pup play-group here.) We are only asking $350 for her - she would love to be snoozing in YOUR lap right now!
MOTHER:
Flicks Sensational Mandy Rue is a very pretty dachshund, a bit smaller in size than our other adult red longhairs, but a little chunkier. She had six pups in her first litter, seven in this one - she's already proven she's aptly named "Sensational" - even if it was after her father, Flicks Sensational Silas - he was pretty good, too! He's where she got her piebald gene, which combined with Randy's in this litter. It takes a piebald gene from each parent to produce piebald pups, which we did here!
Litter of seven, taken 8-7-09.
This pup is the red with a white spot on her head.
FATHER:
Flicks Jimdandy Randy is just that - a real Jim-dandy sire who imparts his piebald genetics to a LOT of his children. He's a very athletic fellow who seems to wow his mates with his good looks and charm, and he sure wows us with his offspring - we like using him when we want a particularly spectacular and colorful litter from a female who likewise is or carries piebald, even though she has no white on her.

One week old, 8-15-09 - already a beauty!
