MAXINE & SANDMAN PUP
This speckled litter was born on December 22, 2009 and will be ready to take home on February 16, 2010. Two are already spoken for!

MAXINE is a charming chocolate & tan piebald smoothcoat who has been wonderfully consistent in producing lovely chocolate piebald puppies for us.
SANDMAN is a longhaired chocolate & tan dapple piebald - a beautiful combination for a dachshund. Both of these parents have loving personalities, and their pups are just great. Combining the two bloodlines has produced some very pretty pups that should be every bit as wonderful as their parents.

Puppy #1 - After already placing the other two, we're left with this sweetie-pie. She's a smooth-coated chocolate & tan piebald with ticking - all those little dots popping up in her white areas. This charming little girl is priced at $275, because she has a glorious kink in her tail - her statement of "I am uniquely ME" -which will still wag with joy when you walk in the door. Many breeders would rather put down a pup with such a "defect," but the tail is a long way from the heart, and we've never had anyone complain about the terrific temperament or loving personality of any of our "scratch & dent" puppies. On the contrary - these pups KNOW they're wonderful, and so do the people who buy them! If you're looking for an extra-special baby dachshund, here's your puppy. She will NOT have AKC papers offered on her.

Flicks Maxine Schnel MS is a smoothcoated chocolate & tan piebald, born 8-15-06, who has given us several very nice litters. Maxine is NOT for sale - she's going to stay on here with us to be loved and cherished for the great gal she is.
This is Flicks Simply Zingy Sandman, born 11-16-07, and quite the happy-go-lucky character. He is a strong producer of piebald offspring, and is rapidly becoming one of our favorite sires, not only for his own playful and affectionate nature, but because of the wonderful, loving temperament he imparts to his babies. He's NOT for sale!

Motherhood does terrible things to a girl's figure, doesn't it?! However, Maxine loses all that "undercarriage" after she weans her pups, going back to her typical slim-trim youthful look.
