ODIE & RASCAL'S PUP
INTRODUCTION:
This handsome little fellow was born on May 17, 2010 and has been ready to sashay off to your house since July 12!
THE PARENTS:
Odie is a charming little black & tan smooth-coat who produces mostly black & tan babies - she belongs to a lady who loves bringing her up to the kennel to be bred to different ones of our smallest sires, and we get "pick of the litter" as our stud fee.
Rascal, who really is a 'little rascal,' was picked for the job this time. He's a TINY black & tan dapple wirehair, who usually produces small puppies that stay small.
Both parents are pictured below their son's description.
THE PUPPY:
This happy, bouncy, on-the-go guy is a barrel of laughs in a very-short wirehair suit. We thought he was a smooth-coat until he was about eight weeks old - that's when his wirehair began to grow out. He's still pretty smooth for a wirehair, but there's just enough of it to show he's really a wire. He sure has the playful, friendly, active nature of a wirehaired dachshund - he's a lot of fun, and we love playing with him. He's also an excellent kisser, and is always agreeable to being cuddled.
This is the ONLY wirehair pup we have at the moment who is NOT a red brindle - so grab him while he's hot! He's yours for the price of only $350, with full AKC registration for only $50 more.
MOTHER:
Spoontaters Odie Odette is this sweet little long-dog's long name, but she responds best to Odie. She's the quintessential dachshund - a smooth black & tan with a loving and playful disposition, which she imparts in good measure to each of her pups. We like having her "pick of litter" pups share our home until they're adopted - they're always fun.
FATHER:
Flicks Hay Wire Rascal's name is bigger than he is, but he's a real live-wire, hardly ever NOT in motion. When we let his hair grow out long, he looks a lot like a Yorkie, and one picture I took of him makes him REALLY look like one, with his ears seeming to stick up. They don't, but he was jumping up toward the camera and they flopped just right to create that illusion.
