There’s no such thing as an ugly puppy at FlicKennel Dachshunds, but once in a while we have one, or a whole litter, that knocks even our socks off. These youngsters have moved on to new homes and some are producing puppies of their own, but being the “proud grandparents” we are, we can’t help pulling out the picture albums and showing off these outstanding babies. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do. Stop back often - this page is a work in progress!

Fancy is just that - a flashy, fancy, black & tan dapple girl, now one of our breeding females producing fantastic color in her babies.

Izzy, being a goofball. The fun thing about taking portraits of active animals is never knowing exactly what you'll get, until you put them on the computer and see them "up close." Sometimes you get a hilarious one, like this shot.

Cash as a puppy. Even then, we knew this boy was going to be wonderful, and he sure is. Not only that, but his babies are absolute show-stoppers with their luxuriant, thick coats and massive bone-structure. This is a line of superb-quality dogs that will only enrich the wonderful world of dachshunds.

Cash's first kids - blue & tan dapple, chocolate & tan double-dapple, black & tan double-dapple! We're keeping Blue Belle and Payday, the ones on either side!

Cash today, all grown up and stunningly handsome. His coat is simply amazing - soft, lustrous, thick, and doesn't mat. So far, his offspring have been the same way!

Payday is the now-grown black & tan dapple son of Cash, pictured above as a puppy. Dramatically different on each side, right down to his brown and blue eyes, Payday is a dream of a dog! We can't wait to see what he produces.

Wiener Dog meets Wiener Pig! The pigs were suggested by our vet to kill rattlesnakes, and it's working - haven't had ANY snake problems since we got them!
