FlicKennel - Dachshunds with ALTITUDE!!!

Fudge's first-ever litter was born May 1, 2008, and will be the required 8 weeks old and ready to go home on June 26.

When Ringo came to Flick Kennel and started producing babies, we were thrilled to see the solid black and solid chocolate babies he sired. We were eager to see what he'd produce when bred to another solid-colored dog, so when Fudge came along, we put them together, and Fudge has given us two solid blacks and a solid chocolate, besides a black & tan and a solid red!

You couldn't ask for a sweeter-tempered mama-dog than Double Fudge Brownie - she's nothing but love, wrapped in long, thick, unusually dark-chocolate hair!

Ringo is a solid black-satin smooth-coat, small-bodied but full of "vim and vigor." He's quite the little man and has sired a lot of great puppies for us.

We know these pups are gorgeous. We know their parents are wonderful - and that one's a longhair, the other a smooth-coat. The only thing we DON'T know is what coats these puppies will have, and we won't know for sure until they're a few weeks old. Stay tuned - we'll post them as soon as we find out!

Fudge's FIRST batch of babies . . .

Fudge & Ringo's puppy #1 ---

This solid-black boy is going to need reflector-tape on him at night, or a battery-powered night-light - he's THAT BLACK! Everybody knows about black & tan dachshunds, but a solid black one is awesomely different - they get noticed.

Fudge & Ringo's puppy #2 ---

Solid chocolate, just like Mama, this little girl is SWEET! The only question yet unanswered is whether she'll have Fudge's long hair or not - we'll know within a few weeks. We have two smooth solid-chocolate girls in the kennel, too, and they're precious, so long, short - who cares?! Solid chocolate stands out from the ordinary just like solid black.

Fudge & Ringo's puppy #3 ---

Concentrating on producing the more unusual dachshund colors, it almost seems surprising when we get a "normal" black & tan, like this little boy.

Fudge & Ringo's puppy #4 ---

If you'd like this little boy for a breeder or show-dog, he can be AKC-registered. If you'd rather have him exclusively for your favorite friend, he doesn't have to be!

Fudge & Ringo's puppy #5 ---

This little lady's little black dress has no tan on it - she's pure midnight black. If she turns out to be long-haired, too - WOW!!! We won't know for sure about her hair-length for a few weeks, but as soon as we know, we'll post it here. She's priced at $750 with full registration, $700 without.

We're going to allow this little guy to go unregistered only, for $500, as a "bestest buddy" for a deserving child who will love him more than anything else in the whole wide world - or for a lonesome grandma who needs somebody in the house she can love on!

Again, red is a "normal" color in dachshunds - one of the most popular colors. We can never keep enough of them on hand, and as the only one in this litter, Fudge's especially-pretty red son will be grabbed up quickly.  This special guy is $600 as companion or $650 as AKC.
